Food business operator who import or export  food items including food ingredients and additives for
commercial use
Import is an activity where articles of trade from a foreign source is brought into a domestic market in the course of trade. Similarly export is an activity of trade to sell food products manufactured in our country to foreign market.

List of importer documents

  • List of Directors with full address and contact details (mandatory for companies only)
  • Food Safety Management System plan or certificate (if any)
  • IE CODE document issued by DGFT
  • Declaration Form
  • Photo I.D and address proof issued by Government authority of Proprietor/Partner/Director(s)/Authorized Signatory
  • Partnership Deed/Self Declaration for Proprietorship/Memorandum & Articles of Association towards the constitution of the firm
  • “Form IX: Nomination of Persons by a Company along with the Board

 

List of exporter documents

  • List of Directors with full address and contact details (mandatory for companies only)”
  • IE CODE document issued by DGFT
  • Declaration Form
  • Undertaking for Exporting FBO(Merchant Exporter)
  • Photo I.D and address proof issued by Government authority of Proprietor/Partner/Director(s)/Authorised Signatory. .
  • “Proof of possession of premises. (Sale deed/ Rent agreement/ Electricity bill, etc.) .”
  • Partnership Deed/Self Declaration for Proprietorship/Memorandum & Articles of Association towards the constitution of the firm
  • “Form IX: Nomination of Persons by a Company alongwith the Board
