NEW LABELLING RULES FOR HONEY ( New Fssai Amendment)
The amendment states, to mention the derived source of honey on the label such as
1. Honey dew honey or Blend of Honeydew Honey and Blossom Honey
2. CarviaCallosa Honey, if the honey is derived from the flower of carviacallosa plant
3 .Pressed Honey, if the honey is obtained by pressing broodless combs.
4 .Monofloral or multi floral honey.
